In February 2024, the Foreign ministers of Finland and India unveiled a special logo marking 75 years of deep friendship, cultural exchange, and collaborative spirit between the two nations. The 8th edition of India Day on August 18, 2024, to be held at Meripuisto, Helsinki celebrates 75 years of diplomatic relations and embraces the continued partnership, innovation, and mutual growth between India and Finland. The event theme is "Celebrating 75 years of India-Finland friendship".

Cultural performances from various Indian associations, and professional dance groups from Finland will showcase their dazzling performance. The food stalls with an array of Indian culinary delights including Indian street foods from various regions of India were a major attraction. The cultural exhibition stalls showcasing handicrafts and ayurvedic products, and activity-based stalls were also popular among event visitors.
